This is the third video in a new series I am calling “The Road to Full-Time” where I take you on trips with me to photography shoots and share my successes and struggles.
Like a lot of photographers who are starting out, we don’t just become a full-time photographer from the beginning. Typically we also have full-time, non-photography jobs, as well as family and friends to balance. This photography vlog is just a small way to document my personal story of trying to become a full-time photographer in the future.
Most, if not all of the videos in this series will be documenting the process of becoming a real estate photographer but all of the techniques I will discuss in future video blogs can really be applied to any type of photography style.
In this episode, I head to to an unfurnished home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina that is fairly small. It was a bit difficult to find interesting angles and the house didnt have any furniture but after thinking about it, it actuall made the house easier to shoot. The light wasnt as nice as I would have liked on the outside but it worked out in the end.
