This is the third video in a new series I am calling “The Road to Full-Time” where I take you on trips with me to photography shoots and share my successes and struggles.
Like a lot of photographers who are starting out, we don’t just become a full-time photographer from the beginning. Typically we also have full-time, non-photography jobs, as well as family and friends to balance. This photography vlog is just a small way to document my personal story of trying to become a full-time photographer in the future.
Most, if not all of the videos in this series will be documenting the process of becoming a real estate photographer but all of the techniques I will discuss in future video blogs can really be applied to any type of photography style.
In this episode, I photograph a local dentist office where I thought the building look pretty neat. I planned the shoot where I could head out at sunset to get the best shot possible. I even used the DJI Phantom to get a better perspective of the building. After the shoot, I show you exactly how I would edit this type of photo. This is just a simple way of getting a great photo for your portfolio.
